Darker Side of the 63'

Neiman Marcus

Getting these ready to deliver to their new walnut creek location next week.  Wishing I could fit the pan in the trailer and ride it back up....Think these turned out pretty great.  Classic Rian Bench with one of their in house designers interpreting a Rian Table with some very Mondrian-esque display tables in the same finish that is on the 63......Gotta love Black Walnut with Blackened Steel.  Perfect.

Spider Ottoman's

Quick shot of these beauties before we shipped em to Mexico today.....sad to see them go so soon.

Like christmas...

Yes folks. That is a numbers matching 28 JD motor. Still wet with oil in the jugs. Unbelievable. Started shaking when we took it out of the crate. As a buddy of mine use to say...."all that's left is everything."

1934 Roller

Did a quick mockup of the VL today when the front end arrived...amazing. The 21" borrani clears the stock length fork by about 3". Looks incredible. I can't wait to get this thing on the road.

Cycle Zombies

My buddy D$ hooked up this sick Cycle Zombies video from last year around Born Free time.  Absolutely awesome to see how a father can inspire a love of vintage bikes in his sons.  As a father of two boys myself, the idea of riding pans and skating parks together is something that almost brings a tear to my eye.  Props to those soCal boys making power moves.  Check the link below.

The Rian Chair and Table

It is certainly clear that a new found passion for vintage motorcycles has stifled additions to the Rian collection as of late.  Of this I am not proud.
Ran across this photo yesterday and it reminded me why I love furniture.  Looking forward to having 8 of them flank my dining table.

Yoshi

Shop captured through the eyes of everybody's favorite intern.
Kid's getting pretty good with the weave.
Is that a perfect 63 Pan and a 64 drop seat behind that Rian Bench?
Yup.

Motor Yard in 97

Friend of mine just sent me this yesterday.
What you don't see is the shank in my sock.
It was used more than once at this spot.
Wish he had the photos of this production when it was finished.
KFM / Sleepwalkers crew.
RIP sergeant Pepper.
It was your birthday the other day.
I haven't forgotten you brother.

Woodshop or Motorcycle Shop?

That seems to be the biggest question right now.  This is the state of affairs in the shop.  This is definitely something I could get use to.
